I voted because you excluded women. I did it just to be contrary. I voted Adrian because it didn't sound foofooish. I would date an adrian if I was going to date a woman.
It seems to me that one's past associations with a given name are more influential to one's preference than are stereotypes. For example, when I see these names, I immediately think of people I've known who have those names. This is the primary influence on my judgement.
I've met a lot of nice girls named Jennifer, although I don't think I ever dated one. I was friends with an Adrian, and she was interesting, but kinda nuts. Jessica is, by some weird chance, the name a few of my female friends always used in dramatic (fictional) stories. I think of it as a name for seriously deranged people, because of this.
Jamila sounds exotic. Jennifer and Jessica sound like 'same ol ish of everyday. Shaniqua sounds like an attitude problem. Adrian sounds like she used to be a man.

NONE OF THE ABOVE SORRY
My ex-sister-in-law is named Jessica. What a major nut case!
I picked Jessica because I've had good relationships with people named Jessica
Isn't Adrian a guy's name anyway?
