If you live here and enjoy the benefit and protection of the constitution why would you object to taking a loyalty oath? The best defense by an educator would be to teach.

I wouldn't want someone that didn't love ther country enough to pledge their loyalty to it to teach my kids. She deliberately takes the oath out of context to raise a stink. Don't let the door hit her in the ass on the way out.

That's not a fact at all -- probably not even a justifiable opinion -- that radically alters this subject. Teachers are in a position of exceptional power, and it seems reasonable to require some loyalty or patriotism from them.
