Cat fight! Madonna's status is in danger. Her new CD, "Hard Candy", went on sale this Tuesday and it is expected to move between 275,000 and 300,000 copies its first week in the US.

Mariah Carey, on the other hand, has had her biggest debut week ever, selling about 475,000 copies of her new CD, "E=MC2".

Both ladies will do well.  I can't stand Mariah Carey's music, it is so bland.  Mariah Carey's music has improved over the years but it still boggles my mind someone would buy Mariah Carey over Madonna.
