Psh, Geta and zori are not the same as sandals, so leave the geishas out of it. Sandals were created to let the feet breathe in hot or wet conditions. What the hell are people wearing socks with them for? Really now!
i can recall to memory a time in the 90's when socks were ok, but only heavy woolen ones with birkenstocks mind you. anything else is pushing it. But i'm not the fashion police
