In Mexico every employee and every employer contribute and everyone has 100% no deductible coverage. The guys that worked for me went to the doctor whenever they needed to go.
I believe health care should be between patient & provider, if you take out the middle men making billions off of the premiums we pay then it would be affordable for all.
i have no idea what you're talking about... "socialist type policies," ..and "or they come to the U.S." do you mean they come to the U.S. for affordable treatment or the just die here like the rest of us?
i am all for health savings accounts....i just don't want the government to dictate to me what, when, where or why....they have enough control as it is....not to mention, i hear where there are socialist type policies in place that people die before they get treated and/or the surgery they need....or they come to the US
-I have good health insurance but it doesn't mean I'd be able to afford major surgeries. If you saw Sicko or similar docs you'd see that even with insurance, there are ways in which insurance companies use to avoid paying, and in some cases insurance cards are as good as coupons.http://www.ourfuture.org/blog-entry/mythbusting-canadian-health-care-part-i -I don't believe the government would put a cap on profit margins, it seems pretty anticapitalistic - I'd say tax credit for people who want to opt out for if it becomes a bad system.
I'm lucky to have good insurance and care so I have not studied this in depth yet. Seems as though hospitals, drug and insurance companies are enjoying good profits. Could there be a cap imposed on their profit margins? How is new equipment being amortized? Should we require that everybody have health insurance, as all must have car insurance at least in my state?
socialism = single payer insurance system
Universal insurance is the best type of insurance
i second that advice
You might try turning off that talk radio once in awhile.
