Would it be a better world if we gave up our personal cars?


Let us pretend that Scientists have proven that giving up cars across the world will save the earth.  There will still be buses, trains, and planes for mass transit!  Could you survive?

Yeah, I guess I could survive without my car - but only if I have a horse to replace it!

I couldn't do without my car...but I think with new hybrids and different types of possibilities arising maybe the world will end up being less poluted at some point

Not with my health handicaps.  I need my own car or I would be totally homebound.
