Seems like most women are turned on by "self confidence" but only feel valuable when a guy "needs them." Allow for poor perceptive skills or stupidity, and that combination can equal a jerk. I think that a woman with poor perception skills, poor experience, or just mild stupidity can end up with a jerk, pretty easily. But I think that women with experience, intelligence, and/or good judgment can avoid it.
They don't like to date them but they do. Women still look for a mate based on looks and then think they can make the jerk into a Prince Charming, however, once a jerk always a jerk just ask a developmental psychologist.
He is lumping all women in this question. The biggest percentage of women do not like jerks. Only those with low self esteem that stick around and take the abuse. A little "bad" in the boy is sexy tho.
