So I just (finally) watched Eastern Promises. Man, that was good. I still haven't decided if it is quite as good, better than or not quite as good as David Cronenberg's other recent work of genius; A History of Violence. What do you think?

Cronenberg is a genius. A History of Violence and Eastern Promise are both very quiet films and both very powerful. They're a departure from his "classic" work, yet still undeniably him.

You must go rent both. First thing in the morning, hit the video store and rent them. Play hookie from work and school, if you must, and watch them. Watch A History of Violence first. You will be tested.heh heh heh

Tough choice. "Eastern Promises" and "History of violence" are both excellent movies. Go Viggo

Videodrome was the only one I'd seen, so I voted for it. Scary movie.
