The Number of the Beast is intriguing because Heinlein essentially wrote out his own escape plan from mortality; if his theories are correct and fictional characters do exist in a separate universe (and according to string theory all things are possible) then Heinlein is not really dead, but in fact living a wonderful life somewhere in his future timeline along with Lazarus Long and the twins. Such a nice thought, I loved that book too ;.)
Thank you for your enlightening response, Dr. Pickover.
You're an asshole. Leave Cliff alone and get a life.
I advise you to delete and reformulate your poll as it is framed in a confusing manner. Why would you ask if something is 'better' if 'never'? I bet up to half of the responses are from people who read this casually. I certainly think the world is better off that Israel WAS formed, and I found myself therefore voting 'better' before figuring out the reverse-switcheroo in the question. I know you are a brilliant guy and all that, but when commuinicating with the little people you have to be very explicit.
great polls. thank you
The greatest metaphysical book of all time. The creator's personal message to us, as well as our 'owner's manual.' An alien visiting here would undoubtedly be interested in knowing exactly what makes our species tick!
