Dear Becky6677: as I have written to other German members, your country is the only large Western country which has kept conscription, forced military service for the bous, or Wehrpflicht, I would be happy if you agreed to vote on my poll about conscription, is it a useful rite of passage for boys, or just a waste of time, or again, should it be reserved for juvenile delinquents, for instance boys guilty of bullying (brutal behavior towards weaker children or youngsters) or of sexual harassment?
