since he is a retired child psychologist all/most of his books actually teach about certain mental disorder....The Devil's Waltz is about Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSP), a type of factitious disorder, is a mental illness in which a person acts as if an individual he or she is caring for has a physical or mental illness when the person is not really sick. People with MSP assume the role of a sick person indirectly by producing or lying about illness in another person under their care, usually a child under 6 years of age. However, cases have been reported of adult victims of MSP. (The term "by proxy" means "through a substitute.")give him a shot and let me know what you think about his work...you will not regret it...
I'll check him out. Is he anything like Dan Brown? The Deception Point is by far one of my favorite novels. I love psych thrillers too!
i noticed you said you like murder mysteries on one of the polls.....have you ever read any Jonathan Kellerman? he is awesome.....he does what some call psychological thrillers.....and he is very easy to read....once i start one of his books it is hard to put it down....
